On Friday December 7th we had our Christmas themed goodbye party for all the volunteers, host families, and work projects. It was a really good time, with a great group of people! We had a potluck dinner and desert, one of the host mom's showed a slideshow of pictures from the last three months, there was a "Journal" presentation reminding everyone of all the funny moments and memories, and then we ended the night with some fun group games.
Almost everyone was able to come, and the one family that couldn't sent a video. The night was purely reminiscing and having fun with good company. Thankfully, all of the sad goodbye stuff was left until Sunday morning.
